Maintaining an Application
Oversee an Application
Once you have registered an application, it displays in the App Monitor. Use the fields on this page to oversee your application. In the application list, you can observe the following fields:
- Status. This field displays the current status of the app on the system. This field can include any of the following:
- In Review. Indicates that the application is waiting for a decision from reviewers on registration.
- Live. Indicates that the application is registered and approved to be included in the app gallery. The application is able to access the required scopes.
- Rejected. Indicates that the application does not meet the necessary requirements for approval. If an app is rejected, Opala sends the rejection reason to the developer, who can then address the issue(s) with the application and submit the app for review again.
- Suspended. Indicates that an application has been suspended from the gallery. An application will be suspended if it is found to be in violation of Opala's Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy.
- Retired. Indicates that this version of an application has been retired. When a new version of an application is promoted to Live status, the old version is retired.
- Change. This field displays the latest status change made to the application. For example, it could indicate that the app has moved from In Review to Live status.
- Message. This field displays messages posted in the application's audit log. It allows admin/reviewers to communicate with developers.
- Date of Change. This field displays the date of the application's last change of status.
- Version. This field displays the iteration of an application that has been registered more than once.
- Submitted. This field displays the date the application was submitted to Opala for review.
Redirect URIs
Changing the URIs your application uses to redirect the browser when the user signs in or ends the user session changes the destination of the ID tokens (sign-in) and user (sign-out). When you add or change one of the values in these fields, remember that they must always use https
since these destinations must be secure.
Incognito Window Mode
Important! Google Chrome blocks third-party applications from sending cookies back to the server when using incognito window mode, which can have some unintended effects on the performance of Opala's Developer Portal. To avoid this, either do not use incognito window mode, or enable cookies manually for incognito windows.
