Register a New Version of an Application

You can register a new version of your app if you have made updates to the application, or if the app was rejected and you want to submit a new version for consideration.

On your Developer Portal Dashboard page, select the button.
In the Registration wizard, select the I Would Like to Re-Register a Previously Submitted App link.
Select the app you want to update.
Edit the information for the existing app to reflect the new version.
Note: When registering a new app version, the app information from the previous version is pre-populated in the Registration wizard.
Submit the request.

When you register a new version of your application:

The new version of the app must be reviewed and approved before it can be used with Opala's APIs.
Once the new version is approved, Opala assigns the new app a new Client ID and Client Secret.
Note: The Client ID and Secret for the old version of the app will no longer work for accessing Opala's APIs.
Once the new version is approved, Opala automatically updates to the new version. There is no need to manually remove the old version of the app.
